The e-mail address is cozycabin@allenspark.com The phone number is 303-747-2911 Direction: From Lyons, Colorado, take Highway 7 approximately 19 miles to the Allenspark turn off sign near highway marker 15. About 50 feet past the sign and right in front of The Old Gallery, turn right on the road marked by the sign that indicates the residences "Street", "Thweatt", and "Parker. Follow the "cabin" signs to the cabin. The cabin is behind the light green house at the top of the hill. Take the driveway to the right, not straight up the hill. See area map.
Allenspark is surrounded by Rocky Mountain National Park, the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area and Roosevelt National Forest. See area map. The Cozy Mountain Cabin directly adjoins the forest and has spectacular views of Mount Meeker and Chief's Head.
Cozy Mountain Cabin comes with a queen sized bed, shower, fully equipped kitchen, wood stove with supplied wood, propane stove, and CD player/radio/cassette.
Allenspark has two cafes, the Tapestry and Meadow Mountain. Both offer excellent home prepared style food. There is also a world class gourmet, continental restaurant in town, the Fawn Brook Inn. Horseback riding is available at the Allenspark stables. They also provide moonlight rides which are one of Allenspark's most popular attractions in the Summer. Hiking, fishing, sightseeing and backpacking are available in Rocky Mountain National Park, the Indian Peaks Wilderness area, and Roosevelt National Forest. In the Winter, there are numerous trails that are suitable for Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing. Finally, just relax and enjoy the mountain air, the serenity, the views, the chipmunks, ground squirrels, and the Rocky Mountain wildflowers.
